FISHING
Bilene offers lagoon, beach and deep sea fishing. The fishing grounds are rich in King Fish, Mackeral, Barracuda and Yellow-Fin Tuna. Lagoa Uembje is a favourite location for surf fisherman. The Mozambique current pushing through the Mozambique Channel finds itself closest here. Whenever the lagoon mouth is open to the sea there is very good fishing for those who love to cast into the surf.
